Ki Beom Kim gained his DDS and MSD from Dankook University, South Korea and subsequently was awarded a PhD for work on orofacial pain at the same university. In 2005 he joined the Orthodontic Residency Program at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., and subsequently became Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Saint Louis University. In 2011 he was appointed Associate Professor, Clinic Director, and Interim Program Director in the Department of Orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University, and he is currently Associate Professor at the Center for Advanced Dental Education, Saint Louis University. Dr. Kim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Board of Orofacial Pain and a member of various professional bodies in the United States and South Korea. He publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals and has given many scientific presentations at international meetings.

Reza Movahed, DMD, graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, New Jersey in 2007. He subsequently undertook an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and The Broward General Medical Center & Memorial Regional Hospital and a Fellowship concentrating on Orthognathic & Temporomandibular Joint Surgery at the Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. Since July 2013 he has been an attending at the Oral Facial Surgery Institute of Saint Louis (OMFS fellowship program). He was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University, Department of Orthodontics in 2013, as Adjunct Professor at Lake Erie College of Dental Medicine, Florida in 2014 and as Clinical Assistant Professor at A.T. Still University, College of Dental Medicine, Missouri in 2015. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

 

Raman K. Malhotra, MD, is Associate Professor of Neurology in the Sleep Medicine Section at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.  He serves as Director of the Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Malhotra graduated in 2000 from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine and subsequently completed a Residency in Neurology and a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He is board certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and will serve as the President of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine in 2021-22.

Jeffrey J.Stanley, MD, is Associate Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Neurology at the University of Michigan, where he is serves as Medical Director of the Alternatives to CPAP Program in the Sleep Disorders Center. Dr. Stanley graduated in 1993 from the University of Illinois – Chicago College of Medicine and subsequently completed a Residency in Otolaryngology and a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of New Mexico. He is board certified in Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is Chair of the American Academy of Otolaryngology’s General Otolaryngology and Sleep Education Committee and Vice Chair of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s Task Force on Surgical Modifications of the Upper Airway for Treatment of OSA.
